The area was first cleared of the old hut previously at that location, debris was cleared away, supplies brought in by boat and by back. The builders camp is set up, and steps for the framing began. Once that process was started, it seemed to build up quickly, as the roof took shape and then walls were in place. Final touches to add drainage, seal the outer wood walls, and steps added.
But we are a long way from realizing our Vision....
Sipapu is where Mother Earth gives birth to the next evolutionary expression for humankind. Today, Sipapu is a majestic hundred acres of verdant Amazonian rainforest in the Community of La Torre on the Rio Tambopata area of Peru owned by THOTH.
Tomorrow, Sipapu will be a 28-bed educational residential center focusing on the conservation and sustainability of the rainforest and her people and indigenous wisdom. Scheduled to open August 1, 2013.
This building is just the beginning, and we want to send our gratitude for all who made this much possible!
